Floras, and the Botany of Geographic Areas (representative)
These are generally in geographical sequence in the stacks, some are books, bound reprints, unpublished reports, and some are serial monographs (Flora neotropica). There are regional and local floras of various ages. These can provide references to systematic treatments, currently accepted names, type citations, specimen locations, herbarium label verification, etc.
